She accumulates extensive academic experience combined with legal practice, carrying out numerous research works and developing public-private collaboration projects.

Experience

She has a PhD in law and is a commercial law professor at the University of Alicante. In the same university, she has exercised the role of vice-dean in the area of international relations. Throughout her career, she has held various teaching and investigation positions in different Spanish universities. She has developed her career at an international level in different institutions such as Institut für Genossenschaftswessen, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität (Westfalia, Germany), UNIDROIT (Rome, Italy), Istituto Italiano di Studi Cooperativi Luigi Luzzati (Rome, Italy), Université Lille 2 Droit et Santé (Lille, France), Centro de Estudios sobre Desarrollo Cooperativo y Comunitario de la Universidad de Pinar del Río (Cuba), Grupo de Estado y Pesquisa, Trabajo y Desarrollo en la Amazonía, Universidad de Federal do Pará (Belém, Pará, Brazil), Centro de Ciencias Agrárias, Universidade Estadual de Maringá (Maringá, Paraná, Brazil).

She has many years of practical experience and specialization in the areas of company law, insolvency law, company start-ups, structural modifications of corporations, banking and finance law, tourism, e-commerce, industrial property and arbitration. Specially she has an outstanding career and dedication in the areas of digital and technological law -fintech, crowdfunding, blockchain, cryptoassets, tokenomics, electronic platforms, digital brokers, decentralized markets or circular economy-, socio-economic law -including a broad variety of entities and organizations, such as cooperatives, benefit societies, associations, foundations, social enterprises and joint institutions- and insolvency law -covering a broad area of precautionary measures, like an early intervention or the framework of precautionary restructuration’s, the second chance and the measures to increase the efficiency of the restructuration processes-. In the latter field, she exercises as an external expert of the European Commission in the development of the project “Saving jobs”. Her experience and specialization in these fields is backed up by various publications and projects for public and private entities.

His usual working languages are Spanish and English, and she has knowledge of Italian.
